What’s Fashion Law? Join me at ATL’s Fashion Law Forum

Posted in The Business of Fashion

Just a friendly reminder to come join me, my fellow panelists and the Above the Team on November 11, 2013, for ATL’s first ever West Coast Fashion Law Forum!

As a reader of this blog, I don’t have to tell you that #FashionLaw is a movement or remind you that Reuters called Fashion Lawyers:

Many of you ask for advice on how to prepare for a career in Fashion Law or how to make the transition into Fashion Law from another practice area.  Well, Above the Law is giving you a chance to hear from some of LA’s top Fashion Lawyers (yes, I pulled a Kayne West and called myself fabulous), and meet members of the Above the Law team.  There will be cocktails, canapés, and conversation as well as plenty of opportunities to network.

The Fashion Law Forum will focus on the many ins and outs of fashion law, such as what a fashion lawyer does, the areas of law you should know, and how to break into this competitive area of law.  If you’d like to get in on the ground floor of this $250 billion dollar industry, or if you’re an experienced practitioner interested in learning best practices, this event is for you!

Date and Time:

November 12th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The opps! I can’t tell you.  You have to RSVP to find out.

Shout Out:

A big thank you goes to @StaciZaretsky and her team for organizing the event as well as Recommind for their support.  If you want ATL to do more LA Fashion stuff (sophisiticted legal word, I know), or just want to express your #gratitude, please let her know on twitter.

See you there!

ps – for all of you that wanted to meet for coffee, lunch, or to just “pick our brain,” the Fashion Law Forum would be a good time.
